Return conditions of DOA Products

  • DOA form with product diagnostic/ problem showing that the product is defective is provided to Doki for review prior to shipment of defective products.
  • Distributor shall consolidate all DOA returns to one location, group them and prepare them to be shipped to Doki authorized service center in Hong Kong.
  • Products are sent in a protective package that preserves them from any damage and properly palletized.

Doki remedies for DOA Products

  • Products under warranty returned to Doki will be, depending on the available stock and at the sole discretion of Doki, repaired, refurbished, swapped for an identical or equivalent product (ex. different SKU color) or credited to Distributor at the most recent price paid for the same product.
  • Returned products not complying with the above conditions will be returned to Distributor as received, at Distributor’s cost.
  • Data or information stored on any media of the products may be lost. Doki disclaims any liability with regard to the loss, alteration or deletion of data.
  • No SIM card, 3G dongle, pouch or any other accessory shall be returned with the product. Doki disclaims any liability with regard to the loss of any such accessory.

2.2. Products Under Warranty

Defective products returned to Distributor/ Retailers by the end consumer during the warranty period shall be consolidated by Distributor and shall be returned to Doki under the conditions stated below.

Warranty Period

Doki shall provide Distributor with a warranty period of fourteen (14) months starting from the date of transfer of goods from the Hong Kong shipping port to Distributor’s appointed freight forwarder. At its own discretion, Distributor shall provide a warranty period of at least twelve (12) months starting on the date of purchase by the end consumer.

Acceptance of products under warranty

  • The product is actually defective. A defective product is a product that despite a firmware update and reformatting, has a defect rendering it unfit for the use for which it is intended.
  • The product is returned in a protective package that preserves it from any damage.
  • The product is returned with its USB charger.
  • Presentation of the original proof of purchase and invoice stamped with the date of receipt of the product by Distributor or Authorized Retailer.
  • Product returned to Distributor within the warranty period.
  • Observance of the warranty conditions.
  • Product returned with the IMEI serial number obtained in the original box.
  • The product diagnostic showing that the product is defective is provided to Doki.
  • RMA form is completed by Distributor and RMA number is obtained from Doki.

Return conditions of products under warranty

  • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form with product diagnostic/ problem showing that the product is defective is provided to Doki for review prior to shipment of defective products.
  • Distributor shall consolidate all defectives products under warranty returns to one location, group them and prepare them to be shipped to Doki authorized service center in Hong Kong.
  • Distributor shall send products in a protective package that preserves them from any damage and properly palletized. Doki remedies for products under warranty
  • Products under warranty returned to Doki will be, depending on the available stock and at the sole discretion of Doki, repaired, refurbished, swapped for an identical or equivalent product (ex. different SKU color) or credited to Distributor at the most recent price paid for the same product.
  • Doki shall make its best effort to respect a turnaround time (TAT) of thirty (30) days upon receipt.
  • Returned products not complying with the warranty terms and conditions will be returned to Distributor as received, at Distributor’s cost.
  • Data or information stored on any media of the products may be lost. Doki disclaims any liability with regard to the loss, alteration, deletion of data.
  • No SIM card, 3G dongle, pouch or any other accessory not included in the original box shall be returned with the product. Doki disclaims any liability with regard to the loss of any such accessory.

2.3. Products Outside of Warranty

Products returned outside of the warranty period are not covered by Doki and shall be returned to Distributor at Distributor’s cost.

Defects. Damages consecutive to abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, repair or unauthorized installation or related to software are not “defects” and will not be treated as a “defects” for purposes of this paragraph. Are, in particular, expressly excluded from warranty: battery, USB charger, LCD screen, and Doki Products which have been, in all or in part, modified, opened, and/or repaired without prior authorization. Doki has the right to refuse to apply warranty conditions to non-defective units. Non defective units received by Doki will have to be picked up by Distributor within one (1) month of notice, otherwise the units shall be considered Doki property. The maximum liability of Doki for defects in any Doki Product shall be limited to the refund of Distributor’s purchase price for the defective Doki Products. In no event shall Doki be liable for the cost of procurement of substitute goods by Distributor.
